Online recruitment software was in the news this week during the nationwide “Technology Awareness” campaign that was held in various locations. One section of this centered on recruitment software, and how it has helped recruitment professionals become more efficient in their work in recent times. Recruitment professionals themselves were at hand to demonstrate the benefits of using the latest technology.

The recruiters were there to relate to the problems their peers encounter on a daily basis, spiralling agency costs, administration issues, communication processes etc. All these issues are addressed by recruitment software, to varying degrees, depending on the size of the organisation, size of the recruitment team, volume of hires etc. The software will have guaranteed results for all companies that are hiring, but the time and cost savings, as already mentioned, depend on other variable factors. The Technology Awareness week is promoted to show those in the recruitment industry that software is the way forward.
